Andy Notice, Intern Clinician

Life can be challenging! While suffering is a universal human experience, each individual navigates it in their own way. It's important to remember that seeking help is not a sign of weakness; rather, it is a courageous step toward healing. Many of us are on a quest for support and a caring individual who can acknowledge our struggles and guide us on our journey to living the life we were meant to live.

My name is Andy Notice, and I am an intern therapist at Soul Matters Counselling. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Trinity Western University and a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) from Tyndale Seminary. I am currently finalizing a Master's in Clinical Psychotherapy. Additionally, I am a certified Prepare and Enrich pre-marriage counsellor and an Enneagram coach. Through a culturally informed lens, I aim to help you find your path forward.

Our sessions will be conducted in a non-judgemental and confidential environment, ensuring your comfort and peace of mind. We will focus on building a rapport based on mutual trust, compassion, and safety. This foundation will enable us to collaborate effectively and support you in reaching your goals. My aim is to assist you on your healing journey, helping you discover the tools, confidence, and hope to live the life you were designed for.

My approach is grounded in humanistic-existential theory, which considers the mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational aspects of being human. I also utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Logotherapy, and Family Systems Therapy, each tailored to meet your unique needs.
